What it is
Plant matter, pressed under rock for centuries
Shilajit is a dark resin found in high mountain rock. Its composition includes fulvic substances and trace minerals. It is sold as a food supplement, not a medicine; the guide explains what is known, what remains uncertain and how the available formats differ.

Why the report matters
Raw resin carries whatever the rock carried
In some deposits that means lead, arsenic, mercury and cadmium. A laboratory report should identify the material tested and show the measured results. Our supplier has published an independent February 2026 report for a shilajit resin sample.
