Recovery

Recovery is the one outcome in this section that a shilajit trial has come near. The 2019 strength trial gave 63 recreationally active men 250 or 500 mg daily for eight weeks and then a fatiguing protocol of maximal leg extensions; the 500 mg group lost less maximal strength after the protocol than placebo, but only in the upper half of the sample, and the 250 mg arm did not differ from placebo at all. That is a reason to run a larger trial, not a finding about recovery.

Shilajit for men reads that trial in full, alongside the androgen study, and names what neither measured. How long shilajit takes to work sets the timeline, which in every trial began at week eight. Sleep has not been measured in any shilajit trial; ashwagandha has a sleep literature of its own, covered in ashwagandha dosage and timing. Many people use the resin after training, which is a behaviour rather than an effect.

The questions everyone asks

What is shilajit, actually?

A dark resin that seeps out of rock at altitude in the Himalaya, made of plant matter pressed and broken down over a very long time. What comes off the rock is not the product. Shodhana, the purification step, is what separates the resin from everything it was sitting in, and that is the step worth asking a seller about.

Why does fulvic acid matter?

Fulvic acid is a carrier molecule. It binds trace minerals and is studied as a way of getting them across a cell membrane, which is why the interesting question about a mineral is not how much is in the jar but how much of it arrives. That is the mechanism the research is built on. It is a line of study, not a settled fact, and nobody should sell it to you as one.

How much do I take, and when would I notice anything?

Follow the instructions and maximum daily amount on the label of the specific product. Resin, liquid and capsule formulas are not interchangeable doses. We cannot promise a noticeable effect or a time to benefit. If you take medicines or have a medical condition, discuss the product with a qualified healthcare professional before use.

Resin or capsules?

The range includes resin and six distinct capsule formulas in vegan HPMC shells. Ingredient amounts are listed for each product rather than reduced to one formula for the whole range. One caution: the Sea Moss and Bladderwrack blend contains iodine, so if you have Hashimoto’s or any diagnosed thyroid condition, take that one to your doctor rather than to the checkout.

Where does it come from, and how do I know it is clean?

Our products come from the white-label range offered by established UK supplier Pure Shilajit UK. The supplier describes its resin as Himalayan-sourced. Certificate 63849 from Alex Stewart Agriculture concerns a resin sample tested in February 2026. It does not establish results for every current retail batch or any capsule formula. Current batch mapping remains unverified; the arsenic result needs clarification against the printed detection limit.

Do you ship outside Europe?

We ship worldwide, with one exception: not to the United States. Switzerland pays CHF 6.90, free from CHF 60, shipped from Winterthur by Swiss Post with no customs. Europe and the United Kingdom pay CHF 6.90, free from CHF 150. Every other country pays CHF 14.90, free from CHF 200, without a localised site.
